#GivingTuesday is a global day for generosity. Join me in supporting real change to create more good in the world and make a difference. Help me and many other dog lovers make a significant impact in reducing the stray animal population while supporting families on the Navajo Nation for Underdog Animal Rescue and Rehab.

Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Underdog Animal Rescue and Rehab.

Why do I want to do a spay and neuter clinic monthly in 2022? Learn more below!

There are an estimated 250,000 stray dogs roaming the Navajo Nation. The life expectancy of these stray pups is just two years. This overwhelming stray population stems from the issue that most dogs are not spayed.

The biggest reason dogs are unaltered is that many Navajo families on the reservation cannot afford simple medical care for their pets. Many live without running water and electricity. There are two veterinarians serving the entire Navajo Nation (an area the size of West Virginia), so there is almost no access to spay and neuter. Not only are these clinics booked out for months, but only 1 in 6 families have a vehicle. The price of gas along with the price of medical care for the pets is too high.

Underdog is here to help! They contract out a mobile clinic to bring vet services to remote communities on the Navajo Nation to provide spay and neuter surgeries free of charge and other necessary medical care, such as vaccinations. They bring thousands of pounds of pet food along with hygiene kits, winter coats, and backpacks and shoes for children.

Stray dogs surrendered at clinics are brought back by Underdog and adopted out to loving families across the U.S. They rescued as many as 92 dogs from one clinic! They are working to empower pet owners to take an active role at their clinics, and provide education on how they can best support the Navajo Nation. With their resources, I am able to enjoy my 12 rescues!

I am asking you to help Underdog hold monthly spay and neuter clinics on the Navajo Nation in 2022. Together we can create happier, healthier, and safer communities to our neighbors in need, animals and humans alike. I just need more help from caring people, like you!
